Ladybower from Bamford Edge is a hand drawn pen line drawing taken from one of Si Homfray’s Peak District photographs in 2017.  The view is a work that attempts to create a single piece of art that represents all the major features, the heather, reservoirs, crags and the moorland that define the Peak District.
It has taken a brightly coloured view of the landscape which probably says more about the artist’s optimistic outlook and perception of this area of the world than any more literal reference.
